Jeremy Wuitschick, a seventh grader in Milton, Washington was on his way to school with about 15 other students yesterday, when he realized something was wrong.

Jeremy told reporters that he acted on instinct after the bus driver started to make funny noises, and eventually passed out behind the wheel.

The seventh grade boy jumped to the font of the bus, steered away from traffic and turned off the ignition.  The bus eventually stopped after hitting a curb and another seventh grader jumped into action, performing CPR on the bus driver.

The two kids not only helped save the life of the driver, but also saved the 15 students on board the bus.  Jeremy had more nerve than most people three times his age would have in that situation, and definitely deserves to be recognized as an everyday hero!
