'Good Times' is finally making it to the silver screen! The 70's sitcom is slated to be adapted in a feature film produced Sony Pictures.

According to Deadline,The 70's television show based out of the Southside of Chicago 'Good Times' that gave an inside look at the lives of low income African-Americans during the 70's has been brought back as a movie by Sony and Scott Rudin.

'Good Times' became an instant hit for American television due to its potrayal of working class black families dealing with everyday realistic issues. Original producer Norman Lear made 'Good Times' relatable, I wonder how the movie will do?
