The Michigan school bus inspection results are in, and most school districts in Genesee County did very well, but Saginaw had some rough numbers.

The inspection took place between September 2015 and February of this year.  It rates the school districts buses on a three tier system.  Buses can score a passing grade, yellow, or red.  Yellow means the bus is still acceptable, but needs work soon.  Red means the bus did not pass the test.

Flint has 59 total buses inspected, and only six received a failing grade.  Saginaw has 51 buses and only 33 received a passing grade.  Saginaw school officials have said that the buses received the work necessary since the test.
