Stream Kid Ink’s ‘RocketShipShawty 2′ Mixtape

Kid Ink is back with his newest mixtape, RocketShipShawty 2, also known as RSS 2. The Los Angeles rapper dropped the 15-tape project earlier this week (Sept. 20) on Soundcloud. RSS 2 is the follow-up to 2012's RocketShipShawty.

The West Coast rhymer and former XXL Freshman has been teasing the tape for months with singles like "Lamborghini Dreamin'" and "GoldenEye". With production from the likes of Murda Beats, Sonny Digital, J Holt and more, the project is a return to form for Ink. The RCA-signee addressed his motivation for the new tape on social media when it dropped, saying that he's proving to those who say he went commercial with radio hits like "Body Language" that he can still hold his own rapping.

"This tape is partially for everyone who says I changed or went mainstream... but mostly for my loyal fams," the rapper wrote on Twitter.

In addition to dropping music, Kid Ink has been enjoying first time fatherhood this year. The blonde-haired rapper welcomed a baby girl with his fiancee Asiah Azante back in February. In December of last year, the Bat Gang leader dropped his surprise fourth studio album Summer in the Winter. Meanwhile his 2015 single "Be Real" featuring DeJ Loaf off Full Speed just went platinum while "Body Language" just went gold. Check out RSS 2 above.
