Swartz Creek Community Schools want to do their part to make sure no child or teen will be hungry this summer. Thanks to the US Department of Agriculture's Summer Food Service Program the school district will be able to provide free breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday throughout the summer. Anyone 18 or under in the Genesee County area can get free meals this summer.

Swartz Creek started a program earlier this year to feed children after school and realized there is a large need in our community for free meals. That need grows in the summer, as children don't get meals from school.

If your child needs a free meal during the summer there is no need to sign up. Meals are served at Swartz Creek High School, Deick Elementary, and Winshall Park. Breakfast will be served Monday through Thursdays from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, and lunch will be served from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
