T.I. Says Eminem Helped Him Beat Addiction [Video]

T.I. revealed that it was Eminem who really helped him get through his struggles with drug addiction.

After being released from his first prison stint, TI got hooked on prescription pills Oxycontin and Hydrocodone. They were to relieve the pain he had from oral surgeries.  Unfortunately, it turned into an addiction.

So TI reached out Eminem.

"I asked him how he knew he was an addict. He said basically, if you put yourself in harm's way. If you risk that, you've got to assume that there is something fundamentally wrong with your thought process."

"It starts with you on the inside. I can give all the advice in the world, but at the end of the day you just got to make that decision internally with yourself."

T.I. continued to pay respect to Eminem and his current projects. "I love what he's doing with Slaughterhouse. I love the move that he made to sign Yelawolf.  He killed that BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher. I've been peeping the move[ment]."

This chat with Billboard is coming off of an interview where he stated that the gay community was being a little to sensitive.

Since then he has back tracked a bit and stated that the black community can be a little to sensitive as well.
