T.I. was released from prison on Wednesday, August 31st which is one month earlier than his original release date.

When T.I. was originally sentenced to 11 months at Forrest City Correctional Facility in Georgia, a release date of September 29th.  T.I. will head to a halfway house for one month upon his release, but expects to be back behind the mic soon.

According to sources that have spoken to T.I., he apparently has more than just music lined up for his release.

DJ Drama told MTV.com about T.I.'s plan to release a book.

“I told him I had a record for him. He should get home in a couple of weeks; he’s ready to get back to work. I know he has a book in the works and definitely the music, expect some good records.”

T.I. jumped on Twitter shortly after being released and sent this to his followers.

"The storm is over and da sun back out. IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!"

T.I. did release, what he called his final letter from prison last month, and left little to the imagination about what he would be up to when he was released.

"When I touch down, I'm going all the way back to square one, like I'm fresh in the game and never sold a record. Back on some I'M SERIOUS, TRAP MUZIK sh--. ... But until then RESPECT to all who deserve it."

There is much more than music in store for T.I. though as VH1 is going to film a reality show about his journey home from jail.  The show will debut in December.

T.I. also finalized a book deal for 'Power & Beauty'. That will drop in October. The novel is a fictional tale about two childhood friends torn apart on the streets of Atlanta.

The main question I have is about T.I.'s ability to get back on top of the hip hop game.  It seemed like he lost momentum with the release of 'King Uncaged' only to be put back into prison.  Do you think T.I. will be able to reach the status he once held?
