T-Pain has a new album on the way, the singer has confirmed.

"Just finished my album #1UP," Pain wrote on Twitter on Friday (Jan. 4.) #COMINGSOON"

When a fan responded to the tweet and asked how Pain felt about the project, he replied, "Love it."

1 Up will follow Pain's Everything Must Go mixtape series, with Vol. 1 having dropped in Aug., and Vol. 2 two months later in Oct. Both tapes were comprised of unreleased music that the singer had sitting in the vault, and they collectively included appearances from the likes of Joey Bada$$, Ace Hood, Bow Wow, Joe Budden, MJG and more.

This will be the sixth studio album for Pain, who dropped off his Oblivion LP in November 2017. That project debuted at No. 155 on the Billboard 200 upon its release.

T-Pain had quite the busy 2018. Aside from the mixtapes, the Tallahassee native also announced plans for a new TV show, T-Pain's School of Business, as well as a new line of Wiscansin University merchandise. He had his fair share of legal issues too, however, filing a lawsuit against his former management company for reportedly stealing money from him by taking too much money for their commissions, and then later receiving a countersuit from the company for allegedly refusing to pay them the rightful share of his commissions. Both cases are still open.
