Nas Confirms Amy Winehouse 'Me And Mr. Jones' Is About Him [Video]

Rapper Nas came clean about a recently leaked tracked from the late Amy Winehouse called "Me and Mr. Jones" claiming it's about him. Rumors circled that Winehouse had a crush on Nas, lyrics say: "Mr. Destiny, 9 and 14," Winehouse sings, referencing Nas' daughter, Destiny, and the September 14 birth date she shared with the rapper.

Nas also had this to say about Winehouse when he was on 106 & Park "She was a genuine person," Nas said referring to Winehouse. "She was like, real. When you talked to her, she was real. She was struggling with a lot of things in her life, but she was a real artist. She was like a sister to me, like a little sister. We had the same birthday so she just had this big, big spirit for this little body. You know what I mean? I wish she was here today, man. God bless her soul."

Kanye West is a very busy man lately with the successful release of 'Watch The Throne' and the impending tour, you would think he wouldn't have much time to do anything else.

Kanye has found some time in his schedule lately though to put together a remix of 'Back To Black' by Amy Winehouse. This is not the first time Kanye has taken a moment of time to honor Winehouse. Nas stopped by BET 106 & Park to talk about everything from his son, Drake, J. Cole and even the late Amy Winehouse. Nas who was in Toronto earlier this month doing a show with Drizzy and Cole didn't rule out working with the 'New Guys" and said he was a big fan of the two artist.

Another topic came up with Nas was there that kind of shocked me, Amy Winehouse. I didn't realize how good of friends the two were and Nas also spoke on that topic, watch the video below to see the entire interview.

Keri Hilson has not made many of her 1 million plus twitter followers happy with her lately. The controversy all revolves around a some comments and a picture that she posted shortly after the death of Amy Winehouse.

While I personally don't think Keri did or said anything wrong, most of the twitter world does not agree. The one thing that nobody can argue with is that she handeled the situation as good as anyone could.

A mere day after the death of singer Amy Winehouse, rapper M.I.A. released the haunting ’27,’ an unfinished demo that loosely pays tribute to the late star.

The track, which was originally supposed to be released on M.I.A.’s 2010 mixtape, ‘Vicki Leekx,’ tells the story of a person who commits suicide after a long addiction to drugs and alcohol.
