Detroit Tigers Delmon Young Arrested, Accused Of A “Hate Crime”
April 30, 2012 Detroit Tigers outfielder, Delmon Young was arrested in New York City Friday as the Tigers were preparing for their series with the Yankees.
Young was intoxicated during an early morning fight with some men outside the Hilton New York along Sixth Avenue.
The misdemeanor charge — aggravated harassment — is punishable by up to a year in jail. The charge was submitted as a hate crime “because of a belief and perception regarding … religion (and) religious practice,” according to the court document filed.

Fan Catches Foul Ball While Holding Baby [Video]
Here is a little baseball action for the weekend! Earlier this week a father made a crazy catch in the stands at a Chicago Cubs baseball game, but it wasn't that easy. The man was holding his BABY!
I've been to plenty of MLB games and never had a chance to catch a foul ball, but I have seen many guys fail while holding a beer or even having a glove on their hand so the facts that this man did it while holding a baby is just crazy! Check out the video below and enjoy the weekend!

Qumar Zaman was the Play by Play announcer for the Lake County Fielders a minor league baseball team in the Chicago area you've never heard of. The reason I'm telling you about Zaman is because after a Fielders game he quit his job live on the air! I guess Qumar was upset with the organization because they had traded 9 players and released 14 others and 2 coaches quit due to payroll issues. Nonetheless Mr. Zaman goes out with a bang!
