Beecher High School

It seems like Flint and the Flint area has been the butt of many jokes over recent years and 2015 hasn't been any different. But I am proud to say a group of young men from Beecher high school has changed the image and made us forget our problems even if it's just for a little while.

Beecher is becoming a dynasty after winning their 3rd State Championship in four years.

Today is the first day of class for students and staff in the Beecher School District which is actually two weeks early compared to other districts in the county.  If you haven't heard, Beecher Community Schools has started the first year round school year in our area and I think it's great.

Beecher Community Schools are making the switch to year round classes and will be the first school to do so in Genesee County.

Today is another great day in Flint, Michigan due to the boys basketball team at Beecher High School.  The 'Bucs' brought back another state championship trophy with an impressive win against Laingburg.  Laingburg put up a great battle but the 'Bucs' were able to move pass them.

We're uber excited that for 'Man Man' and his stand out career at Beecher High School.  Yesterday it was announced that Monte Morris was awarded 'Mr. Basketball' for the State of Michigan.  The Beecher stand out player deserved to be named the best male basketball player in the state.

Beecher Scholarship Incentive Program (BSIP) Fundraiser 'A Night In Harlem' will take place this Friday, February 22nd, 2013.  BSIP is a program to help assist area students with academic success and furthering their hopes of higher education.  BSIP is asking you for your help by attending this fundraising event.
