'Gate Keeper' The Winged Coaster Is Cedar Point's Newest Addition [Video]

Cedar Point announced that a new winged roller coaster called 'The Gate Keeper' will take over the space where 'Disaster Transport' once sat.

So far only a conceptual video has been released, but it already has ride enthusiasts drooling.

Disaster Transport has been a part of Cedar Point's list of attractions since 1985 when it was originally an outdoor ride. In 1990 they decided to close it in and turn it into the space themed ride that it is today.

In less than a week though, Disaster Transport will be gone from America's Roller Coast forever. Cedar Point is paying tribute to the ride though, and helping to Give Kids The World at the same time.
