Three area fire departments are getting some much needed grant money to upgrade their equipment.

A Highland Park Firefighter decided to show what his team does on a daily basis from his point of view.  He strapped a helmet cam on for the entire year filming himself going into amazing burning buildings.

Firefighters spent Thursday evening battling a huge fire on Pierson Road as a local business burned to the ground.

Cee Lo Green hooked up with Duracell and remade his hit single "F You" into a tribute to volunteer Firefighters called "Thank You". Cee Lo is also out on tour right now and doing selected dates with Rihanna and J. Cole. Watch the tribute video here.
