Being a police officer is one of the toughest jobs in America. Day after day men and women risk their lives to protect and serve the people of Flint, and honestly don't get enough credit for it. Its moments like this though that show how being a police officer is more than just a 9 to 5 job.
Flint residents not only have to worry about their families getting lead poisoning, but also their dogs. Volunteers at the Michigan State University College Of Veterinarian Medicine hosted a free lead screening event for dogs to help residents determine if their dog has been poisoned.
Well that didn't take long. Are you surprised? I mean this is coming from the same Governor that said there is nothing wrong with the Flint water and he would let his family bathe in the lead poisoned water.
