Penn State University's Board of Trustees cleaned house by firing longtime football coach Joe Paterno, as well as university president Graham Spanier.

This was a move to clean up the mess and move on in the best interests of the university according to a spokesperson.  However the general population of Happy Valley did not agree, and rioted in the streets all night.

Joe Paterno issued the statement, "Right now, I'm not the football coach, and that's something I have to get use to."  He also addressed the crowds that had gathered outside.  Check out video of the angry mobs, and Joe Pa below.

A youth football coach from a middle school in Southfield, MI broke a 13-year-old’s collarbone with a hard hit during practice.

The coach called it a "tackle drill" when he threw on a helmet and picked kids to try and get him down.

The coach had his assistant film him running full speed into the 13 year old players, and catching him breaking one of their collar bones.

Alex Androsuk is the boy who was injured in the clip, and what he says that the coach told him is shocking.

I have to think that the amount of hay-makers landed in this short fight, is directly correlated to the amount of new fans gained by the LFL.

Who knew that the 'Tampa Bay Breeze' and Cleveland Crush' even had teams, much less such a heated rivalry.

Oh it's another College Football Saturday and let's hope this happens again today! In the UCLA Bruins vs. Arizona Wildcats game on Thursday, October 20, 2011 a college kid fan dressed as a referee runs on the field, blows a whistle while waiving his hands, and stops the UCLA/Arizona college football game on ESPN. Mayham and fights between the two teams broke out after the incident where two players were ejected.

Two Chicago area youth football teams were getting ready for their game with the usual routine of stretching, until the refs didn't show up on time.  That's when the dance off started.

The teams are made up of mostly 11 and 12 year old kids, and both teams were ready to play.  Once the coaches realized that the referees were not going to show up on time, they tried to keep their teams busy by running drills.

It worked for a little bit, until the 'Cha-Cha Slide' started to play over the fields PA system.  That's when the kids decided to take things into their own hands.

The Spartans of Michigan State celebrated their fourth straight win in the backyard rivalry game against Michigan after a 28-14 win.

As the Spartans walked across the field with the 'Paul Bunyon Trophy', many of them celebrated a clean sweep.  The players that came in as freshmen have never lost to the Wolverines.

The 28-14 final score does not tell the story of many missed U of M opportunities, or dirty plays by MSU players.  Check out some of the video of a few personal fouls that occurred during the game.

Streakers never cease to amaze me, because it seems like you should have a couple of things before you streak.

Demias Jimerson was asked by his schools principal to limit his touchdowns to three per game.

Sounds crazy right?  Why in the world would anyone want to limit how well a young athlete can do?

The problem is the fact that 11-year-old Jimerson could score every time he touches the ball.  This isn't the case of an overconfident athlete, it's a fact that Demias Jimerson is so good that he has to limit his scoring.

Detroit Lions Quarterback Matt Stafford is healthy this year, and that's a big reason the Lions are 2-0.

Lions fans all over Michigan are slowly buying into the reality that we could have a very good football team this year. It's been so long that we have had something to cheer about, that we are all a little skeptical.

Maybe watching and listening to Stafford perform during his best game yet as a pro will help.

New York Giants linebacker Michael Boley picked up a loose ball and scored a touch down in last night Monday Night Football Game on ESPN.

Boley usually doesnt get to score that much so it's understandable that he wouldn't have his TD celebration planned out.  So instead of some song and dance, Boley threw the ball as hard as possible at Giants intern Ryan Brown's head.

Interning is never easy, but I'm sure possible concussion was not listed on the description.

First off I would like to say if this happened more often in female sports it would make it much easier to watch! I'm not sure where this Powder Puff "Flag" football game takes place and to be honest I don't really care. Whenever girls get together and start throwing bows it's always entertaining to watch.

Youth, Pee Wee, Pop Warner are names that are all synonymous with entertainment.  It's amazing that any of these kids actually grow up wanting to play football after watching what they go through on the youth field.  Everything from fanatical parents to over-hype coaches, and that one kid who is way bigger than everyone else.  Youth football is a little more serious, and a lot more entertaining than you would think.
