When the Brooklyn Nets unveiled in April their black-and-white logo, which was approved by part owner Jay-Z, it drew a wide range of reactions. Particularly, from New York Post sports columnist Phil Mushnick who felt Jay was “urbanizing” the basketball team.
Jay-Z dropped a 'Made In America' trailer a few days ago, but no ones knows why? The video showed up on his Life + Times YouTube channel featuring shots of various cityscapes and crowds going crazy.

Global superstars Jay-Z and Rihanna are about to capture the world’s attention with headlining gigs at BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend, a festival in support of the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games. An estimated 100,000 fans are expected to attend in the Hackney event in London on June 23-24. Other performers confirmed for the fest include Florence + the Machine, David Guetta, will.i.am and Jessie J.

What do you get when you combined the virtues of reading books and rap music? You’ll get this hilarious parody video by La Shea Delaney and Annabelle Quezada. The comedic duo teamed up to remix Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s ubiquitous anthem ‘N—as in Paris’ into their literary anthem ‘B—-es in Bookshops.’
Katy Perry got into her zone and did something we wouldn’t expect from the pop diva. The ‘Part of Me’ singer wowed audiences at BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge with a cover of Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s worldwide anthem ‘N—as in Paris’ from their album ‘Watch the Throne.’
