The Migos are closing out the year with a bang. Following the release of Quavo’s new solo album, Quavo Huncho, it was recently revealed that Takeoff is next on deck to release a solo effort. On Friday (Oct. 26), the Atlanta rapper delivers “Last Memory," the first single off the forthcoming project.

For his first solo single, Takeoff chooses a dreamy cut with trap accents that fits his laid-back demeanor. He's still flexing like no tomorrow. "Half a million on a necklace (A half)Young rich niggas we successful (Successful)," he raps. "Said she wanna feel special (What)/That coco make her feel special (Coco)/I count a hunnid or better (One hunnid)/Back in two hunnid or better (Two hunnid)/I might go put my chains on (Ice)/I just might change up the weather (Change it)."

Takeoff’s new album is titled The Last Rocket. He debuted the project during a private listening session earlier this week and also offered some details about the release. The LP will contain 10 tracks and will be produced by DJ Durel and Cassius Jay.

Quavo recently revealed all three Migos members have been working on music while on the Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour. Offset will be following up with his solo album after Takeoff's release. "We've just been leaving the concert and going straight to the studio," Qua said in an interview with L.A. Leakers. "I'm done, I'm glad. That's what Takeoff and Offset doing right now, going straight to the studio and not getting no sleep, waking back up hitting the stage."

The trio has also been working on their Culture III album, which is now slated to drop in the first quarter of 2019. Unfortunately, it does not appear the previously-teased joint album with Drake is actually a thing. Back in January, Lil Yachty announced he and Takeoff were working on a joint project. It is unclear if that tape is still being prepped.
