Texting Girl’s Angry Voicemail Becomes Alamo Drafthouse PSA [Video]

When a girl recently ignored the Alamo Drafthouse's strict policy against cell phones, she was kicked out.  The story should have ended there, since the girl knew the rule and decided to ignore it and subsequently call to complain about it.  What the Drafthouse did with that voice mail is pure genius.  Watch as one girls angry rant becomes the worlds PSA against cell phone use in theaters.

The Alamo Drafthouse Theater is a unique type of movie theater.  They took a stand on cell phones years ago, and have not backed down according to their blog.

When we adopted our strict no talking policy back in 1997 we knew we were going to alienate some of our patrons. That was the plan. If you can't change your behavior and be quiet (or unilluminated) during a movie, then we don't want you at our venue. Follow our rules, or get the hell out and don't come back until you can.

I don't know how it can be any more clear than that.  I love the fact that they stick by their guns, and I love that the way they used this angry customers voice mail even more.
