Mark Clement of Holly has a knack for growing big pumpkins.  He's so good in fact, that he has grown the states biggest pumpkin for two years in a row.

ABC12 reports that this years biggest pumpkin weighs in at 1,700 pounds!  The most shocking part is that it's 200 pounds smaller than last years pumpkin, which holds the state record.

There is enough pumpkin there to cover the basic pumpkin spice needs of the entire state!

Clement is going to raffle off the pumpkin, and it's seeds at the Howell Nature Center.
