According to the CDC, by the end of the year there should be 1.4 million people infected with Ebola, with 62% of these people dying from it.

The official statement from the Department of Defense is painting a very scary picture of Ebola in the next few months.

Marine Corps General John F Kelly said it's a real possibility that the virus will spread to Central and South America.

He said there could be mass migration into the United States from countries that cannot handle the virus. If it spreads to Central or South America, people will flee to the US to run from the virus or to get better treatment if they are infected.  Much like in West Africa there are countries in the west where, if Ebola begins to spread, it will be very difficult for them to contain it.

This sounds like the start of an apocalypse movie.

The good news is that the Ebola virus is only spread by direct contact with infected fluid. That means that if correct precautions are taken, you can protect yourself from getting it.

Be smart, and stay safe . . . and under no circumstances should you be an idiot like the guy below.
