The Only Survivor Of The Sandy Hook Elementary 1st Grade Classroom Played Dead [Video]

The only survivor of a Sandy Hook Elementary first grade class ran from the school covered in blood and told her mom, "I'm OK mommy, but all my friends are dead."  How did she make it? According to her pastor, she played dead and fooled the shooter.

As the days pass, and we learn more details about what happened on that tragic day, the story only get's harder to deal with.  Even a story like this one that involves a child surviving this terrible event fills your eyes with tears.

Imagine the thoughts that this young girl will be forced to deal with, and the images that will be burned into her head from this.  It's a good example of why the healing process should not be forgotten by everyone a few days after this is no longer top story news.  We should all come together and help the victims, survivors and community deal with this from now on.
