The Detroit Pistons decided to fire head coach Lawrence Frank after only two seasons.  The announcement was made yesterday, and didn't come as a surprise to anyone.

The Pistons finished 29-53 this season, and held the record for longest losing streak this season as they dropped 18 straight games.  Joe Dumars commented:

"We thank Lawrence for his hard work and dedication, but we feel it is in the best interest of the franchise to make a change at this time, decisions like this are never easy and we wish Lawrence well in the future."

Dumars himself is under the microscope as rumors of his firing have been swirling around too.  The big question for Piston fans is what now?  Detroit hasn't made the playoffs in four years, and have no solid coach in place.

Who do you think should come in and coach the team?  Is there any chance that the Pistons make the playoffs next year?
