‘The Split Mitt’ Carries On The Great Divide Tradition

The Great Divide was a Flint staple, so many were shocked when the doors suddenly closed, but The Split Mitt promises to carry on the tradition.

The Split Mitt is now open at the old Great Divide location on Miller and Ballenger, and they are mirroring what The Great Divide provided.

After having a renaming contest, the store decided that The Split Mitt would be their new moniker.  Alex Damn was the winner of the contest, and picked up a $500 gift card for the name.

The Split Mitt grand opening celebration took place last weekend, and you can check out some of the pictures below.  It's comforting to see the rivalry will live on in Flint.
