This Heart Warming Garbage Man Gives An Autistic Boy A Gift [Video]
Daniel is a 5-year-old boy with autism who greets his garbage man, Manuel Sanchez, with a wave and smile every week on garbage day. A special moment was caught on camera as Sanchez decided to give Daniel a gift to say thank you.
Sanchez picked up the trash as usual while Daniel watched, then backed up and asked his mom if he could give Daniel a present. He walked out of the truck with a big plastic bag and gave it to Daniel. Inside was a toy truck, and Daniel was so in shock that he could barely squeak out a thank you.
Daniels parents were so moved by the gesture that they started a Facebook page to show the good deed to the world. The video has since gone viral and Sanchez has become the center of a lot of attention.
Sanchez said that he's a little embarrassed by all the attention but added, "That little boy is so special, and he will steal anybody's heart as soon as you see him. I didn't know what he has, but there's something very special about him."
There are so many great things coming out of this story! The one that stands out to me the most is that anyone can become a hero, and all it takes is a couple of minutes to show some kindness.
