No rapper has generated quite a huge buzz and fan base than Chicago native Tink. The 21-year-old rhymer and singer has already released several mixtapes, including 2014's Winter’s Diary 2: Forever Yours, and is poised to be the next big artist in rap. Now she’s here for her XXL Freshman Freestyle.

Tink is one of two women who appear on the 2015 XXL Freshman Class cover (peep DeJ Loaf’s freestyle here) and rightfully so.

In her freestyle video, Tink bounces back and forth singing and rapping empowering words about how she would rule the world. "If I ruled the world," she sings before rapping, "I'll build school in Chicago / Open it up just for the brothers / Just to turn around and only hire people of color."

Tink then raps, "I put the game in the coffin / Too many d---s in the office / Give the people some real tea like it's a party in Boston / I'll be the Nas and the Lauryn / We out here worshippin' foreigns / Too busy being influenced without the reason we do it."

"My music is very authentic," she says. "I don’t want to step on toes, but a lot of female rappers don’t talk about s---. They don’t talk about issues or actual things that are really going on. And for me, I really do rap. I really take it serious. I’m not coming with a gimmick, or like, ‘Look at me, look at my image.’ It ain’t like that for me."

Watch Tink's phenomenal singing and lyrical talent in her XXL Freshman Freestyle.
