...it's cold out. Damn cold. It's the coldest day in 25 years, in fact.

And to add insult to injury, parts of the Upper Peninsula are under a blizzard warning. The rest of us just have to worry about our contacts freezing to our eyeballs. Yes, really.

Other things that can happen to your body within minutes when it's this cold:

  • frostbite
  • hypothermia
  • increased risk of heart attack
  • mummified/burned skin

An entire generation hasn't seen weather this cold, so let's point out the obvious: bundle up. Keep animals inside. Don't go out unless you have to.
