Tom Brady threw for 303 yards and a touchdown, and the New England Patriots beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 19-14, in Florida on Thursday night. With the victory, his 186th in the regular season as a starter, Brady tied Brett Favre and Peyton Manning for the most by a quarterback in NFL history.

Stephen Gostkowski kicked four field goals for New England (3-2). The Patriots defense held strong for most of the game, but allowed Tampa Bay (2-2) to move the ball late.

Jameis Winston completed 26 of 45 passes for 334 yards and no interceptions for the Buccaneers. He drove Tampa into the Pats red zone in the waning seconds, but his incomplete pass ended the game with his team 19 yards short of the goal line.

Bucs kicker Nick Folk missed all three of his field goal attempts on Thursday after missing two field goal attempts and an extra-point against the New York Giants last Sunday.

Brady had two turnovers Thursday, including his first interception in eight regular season games. He was without injured tight end Rob Gronkowski (thigh) as a target.
