Troy Ave left a Brooklyn hospital Monday (Dec. 26) after suffering two gunshot wounds on Christmas Day while driving a red Maserati in Brooklyn’s Canarsie section around 4:20 p.m. The rapper was struck in the arm, another bullet grazing his head, with the bullets reportedly still in him as he left the hospital, the New York Daily News reports.

Troy captioned the above Instagram video writing, "shot in my head, shot in my back, GOD is Great Ya boi is back from the bottom of my heart thank y'all 4 all the prayers" and as well plugged his White Christmas 4 mixtape, which dropped just a few days before the shooting occurred.

“He is very sore,” Troy's lawyer, John Stella,  said. “The doctors told the family that he came dangerously close to having a spinal cord injury — but it looks like there’s no lasting damage from the wound track.”

Scott E. Leemon, the rapper’s attorney, issued a statement to XXL about the shooting, which reads, “Tonight, Troy Ave was targeted again…on Christmas. In Brooklyn, going to meet his family for the holiday, he was shot two times. Thankfully, he will survive the second attempt on his life. As we have said from the beginning — he is a victim. We pray for his speedy recovery.”

Video is spreading online about a guy who was seen filming the aftermath of the shooting (see below).

Along with his release yesterday, Troy dropped the video for "No Delay," the second track off White Christmas 4, which further's his holiday motif. Watch that video below.
