Vacant K-Mart In Fenton Will See New Life

The vacant Silver Parkway K Mart building in Fenton is about to see a dramatic transformation.

The announcement came this week that four new tenants would be splitting the empty building to create a shopping hub.

TJ Maxx, Petco, Michaels and Five Below are dividing up the space, with a fifth tenant that is still being determined.

The vacant building had been referred to as the eye sore of Silver Parkway, and despite that pretentious sounding statement, the new businesses will be a good fit.

The project is scheduled to be finished sometime in the Spring of 2019. We've had our expert artists draw up a rendition of what the new plaza will look like.
