Staff Sergeant Travis Mills of Vassar, is back in America after losing his arms and legs in an IED explosion in Afghanistan last week.

He is being treated at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and parents next to him.

Last week the people of Vassar tied countless yellow ribbons around town to show their support for Mills and his family.  With the news of Travis coming home, they tied even more ribbons yesterday.

The family has set up a Facebook group for people to show support to Travis and his family.  The wall has been covered with supportive posts like this:

If you would like to help out the Mills family in any way, they have set up the site TravisMills.org to keep everyone up to date.  You can make donations, help with fundraisers and get updates on Travis' condition.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Mills family, and we hope for positive news very soon.
