Volvo thinks that their new Dynamic Steering is so good, that they decided to let a hamster drive one of the semi's up a treacherous quarry road to prove it.

They keep emphasizing that since the hamster can't see the road, they are using a carrot to lead him in the direction he needs to turn so he can avoid plunging to his death.

Great idea, and they are right . . . a hamster couldn't see the road from the steering wheel but my question is, "What if he could?"

A hamster has no idea what the steering wheel is, and even less of a clue that he should use it to follow the road!  The fact is, that even if you had some human sized hamster, he would absolutely drive that truck directly off the road to his death!

Sorry about that . . . I got a little off topic.  The truck steers good too.
