The Democratic Presidential Debate takes place in Flint tonight at The Whiting Auditorium, and the crew at CNN put together a great time lapse video of the stage being built.

What goes into turning a normal theater into the center of the Democratic political world for a night?

The answer is simple, a lot of work!

This video doesn't do justice to the transformation that The Whiting undergoes for the debate.  Those of us who have been to The Whiting for many different types of shows, will still have a hard time recognizing this Flint landmark.
