You young bucks might not remember, but there was a time before Will Smith was a blockbuster movie actor, and he just so happened to be part of one of the most popular rap acts of his day, DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince. While those times are long gone, Big Willie can still shut a show down with one classic song or two. Smith had the opportunity to see if he could still rock a crowd yesterday (June 4) at the Roots Picnic 2016.

Will's daughter Willow was actually on the bill. During her set she surprised the Philly crowd by bringing out her famous pops who performed a round of his 1991 hit "Summertime." In the footage captured of the performance, Will's former partner DJ Jazzy Jeff can also be seen on stage enjoying the throwback moment.

"Summertime" peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Rap and R&B charts 25 years ago and is widely considered a classic rap track and the ultimate old school warm weather anthem.

Last year, it was reported that the duo would be reuniting for a tour. However, dates have yet to materialize.

Future performed at the Roots Picnic yesterday too but his show didn't go so well. The Atlanta MC performed for a packed crowd, but according to those in attendance, problems with the sound at the venue caused for an up an down show, ending prematurely when Hendrix left the stage. People then started throwing bottles.
