Wiz Khalifa Tells Reporter Not to Ask Him About Kanye West

Wiz Khalifa is not interested in talking about Kanye West. While the two rappers may have squashed their beef, it seems that some underlying tension remains. Wiz was asked about the contacts Kanye wore at the 2016 Met Gala and refused to comment.

"Don't ask me about that guy," Wiz Khalifa told the reporter before he began to laugh and walk away.

Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West got into a heated feud earlier this year when Wiz criticized 'Ye for his prospective album title of Waves. The two traded barbs on social media including a huge rant by Kanye. Things got messier when the two rappers' mutual ex, Amber Rose, jumped into the dispute.

Things seemed to settle down after Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose were pictured together. Kanye West would reveal that he and Wiz Khalifa spoke on the phone to sort things out. Wiz confirmed this in an interview with Hot 97.

"We spoke on the phone. Amber and Kim spoke on the phone, it’s all good," Wiz Khalifa said. "It was crazy because I don’t think that’s anything that wouldn’t happen between anyone else. The way we settled it and the way we bounced back is all that really matters…[Kanye and I] are focusing on friendship, let’s focus on being friends first."

A month later, Wiz Khalifa said that he had nothing to apologize for and the beef was over. But in light of his unwillingness to speak on Kanye, it looks like he and Yeezy haven't exactly established a friendship yet.
