33 year old Dana Holmes is suing Chicago Police Department for strip searching her after she was arrested for drunk driving.  The strip search was conducted by four officers, only one of which was female, and the entire thing was caught on camera.

Dana was pulled over and arrested after she was found to be more than three times the legal limit.  She was taken to jail, and that's when police say that she became violent.  They say she kicked, punched and bit the officers and that's why they conducted the strip search.

Dana says they used excessive force, and after the strip search, police threw her a blanket and told her to sleep it off.

Illinois law says a suspect can only be strip searched by a member of the same sex and no one can be around who is not involved in the search.  Dana is suing the station and the four cops for inflicting emotional harm by stripping her without legal justification. She said she hopes they lose their jobs.
