Yella Beezy's recovery process is going in a good direction. The rapper was released from the hospital earlier this week after being shot during a drive-by shooting earlier this month.

Reps for the rapper have confirmed the Dallas MC is currently continuing the recovery process at home. As previously reported, the "That's on Me" rapper was shot on Oct. 14 while driving on the Sam Rayburn Tollway around 3:30 a.m. Several rounds were fired at his vehicle, with multiple shots hitting the rapper. He was transported to a nearby hospital and labeled stable condition.

He remained in the hospital for over a week and even watched his 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards performance from a hospital bed. Earlier this week, he showed off photos of the vehicle he was riding in during the shooting. The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is riddled with bullets. Multiple holes puncture the driver's side door.

Beezy celebrated his 27th birthday on Thursday (Oct. 25). He posted about reaching the special day on Instagram. "How can’t i not smile , these niggas tried to take me out wit everything they had and it didn’t work," he wrote. "Today my birthday 🎁🎂🎉🎈🎊 i made it to see 27 , and I’m fina apply major pressure. And they just gotta sit & watch this shit knowing they plan didn’t work 😂 how can i not smile ? God got plans for me , you ain’t seen nothing yet ....!! !!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽."
