The police chief in Sanford, Florida is stepping down after a neighborhood watch shooting of a black teen. Also, the parents of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin met with US Justice Department officials and thousands of protesters came together for a rally led by Al Sharpton.

The State Attorney's Office is reviewing the case which will be presented to a grand jury next month. The Justice Department has also agreed to open a federal civil rights investigation.

Martin's parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, believe 28-year-old George Zimmerman should have been arrested for shooting their son. They think Zimmerman was profiling their son and acted like a vigilante. Zimmerman has claimed self-defense.
