Drake, Tyler, The Creator and More Celebrate ASAP Rocky’s Release
On Friday (Aug. 2), A$AP Rocky was finally released from police custody in Sweden, much to the relief of the rapper’s fans and his peers. Shortly after the news broke that Rocky and his co-defendants were free to leave the country after a three-day on his assault case, rappers and fans alike celebrated on social media.
Meanwhile, Drake jumped on his Instagram account and shared a photo of Rocky himself and in the caption, he posted two godly hands emojis.
Finally, A$AP Ferg, who has been keeping fans informed about Rocky’s legal plight, hopped on his IG page and shared a news story of the embattled rapper’s release. In the caption, Ferg posted a prayers hands emoji.
Other rappers like Lil Yachty, Kap-G and others also celebrated Rocky’s release.
As we previously reported, Rocky was spotted leaving the court in great spirits after the trial was over. His ordeal is not quite over yet. The 30-year-old artist will have to wait until Aug. 14 for the verdict. According to reports, prosecutors in Sweden are recommending that Rocky serve six months behind bars for the assault.
For now, though, Rocky is out from behind bars, and people are happy about it.
