ASAP Rocky Goes to Sweden for the First Time After Assault Trial: Watch
A$AP Rocky is more than a little happy about his return to Sweden.
On Tuesday night (Dec. 10), the Testing rapper hit up his Instagram story to share videos of him in the studio with Swedish artists. In the video, we can see Rocky posted up with numerous people in the studio as he declares his appreciation for his Swedish fans.
"We in Sweden right now, you know what I'm sayin?" Rocky shouts into the camera. "It's the king of the slums. We got to check out the gang and all that man. Shout out to all the people out here."
The impromptu studio session occurred before his scheduled performance at Stockholm's Ericsson Globe on Wednesday. Swedish rap artists Jireel, Z.E and Dree Low are preparing to open up for the Harlem rapper. Unfortunately, the A$AP Mob boss won't be able to bring his performance to the Swedish prison he was held at for about a month. A rep for Sweden's Prison and Probation Service claimed that security and logistics issues prevented the rapper from bringing his set to the detention facility.
Rocky is allowed to roam freely throughout the country as long as he adheres to his conditional sentencing stemming from his assault case. Rocky and his two associates, Bladimir Corniel and David Rispers, were found guilty of assaulting 19-year-old Mustafa Jafari during a fight in the streets of Stockholm.
