Fans of Kanye West and Kid Cudi had been waiting a decade for this moment: a full-project that features the two highly influential artists joining forces with some fresh, ahead-of-the-curve music. And that album has arrived in the form of Kids See Ghosts, which attempts to recapture the magic the duo found on Yeezy's 2008 album, 808s & Heartbreak.

Kanye West found a kindred spirit in Kid Cudi after discovering the Ohio native's A Kid Named Cudi mixtape in 2008. He took the budding talent under his wing, welcoming him into the G.O.O.D. Music family. Cudi is the creative muse for 808s & Heartbreak—his aesthetic fingerprints are all over the game-changing album. From there, he broke out as a star in his own right, making his major label debut in 2009 with Man on the Moon: The End of Day and continuing to work with Kanye on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus, The Life of Pablo and Ye.

While Kanye and Cudi's relationship has had its share of ups and downs, the two have not allowed their personal issues and differences to get in the way of their friendship and musical partnership, both of which appear to be stronger than ever with the release of Kids See Ghost. The project features contributions by Louis Prima, Pusha-T, Yasiin Bey, André 3000, Ty Dolla $ign and Dot da Genius.

"We’re here creating in real time just having fun," Kanye tweeted today, of the recent G.O.O.D. Music albums that he's produced. "I hear the albums blasting out of the cars when I walk down the street. Kids come up to me and tell me their favorite songs. We’re experimenting with new sounds structures and ideas."
