Two years ago, Bryson Tiller was homeless and looking for his big break in the music industry. Today, he’s a R&B sensation selling out venues across the country. In his new video for “Self-Made,” the Kentucky native details his road to success while surfing on a luxury car with suicide doors.

The black-and-white visual, directed by Colin Tilley, features Tiller doing some amazing things on a city street (with the help of special effects, of course). From surfing on a car to jet skiing on the block, the trap-soul king can do it all so effortlessly.

In an interview with GQ magazine, Tiller explained what "Self Made" means to him. "It just sucks whenever you work so hard to do something, and then a lot of people try to take credit for it," he said. "That’s not only what the song’s about, though. It’s about how sometimes you deserve to go ball and splurge on yourself."

"I feel self-made," he continued. "There are a lot of people that helped me get to where I am, but I took the initiative to want to better my life whenever I was just working at Papa John's and UPS. I just said to myself, 'I’m done with this life. I want a new lifestyle.'"

Next for Bryson Tiller is his U.K./European leg of the “Set It Off Tour” with SZA. The trek kicks off Oct. 17 in France.
