The 2016 MLB All-Star Game got off to an auspicious start last night when the quartet singing 'O Canada' changed the words to include 'All Lives Matter' in the anthem.

The internet blew up immediately when one of the singers changed the words substituting “With glowing hearts we see thee rise, the True North strong and free,” to “We're all brothers and sisters, all lives matter.”

After the group finished, and was confronted about the change, they blamed the actions on Remigio Pereira, saying they didn't know he would do that.

Remigio used his own Twitter account to try and explain why he changed the lyrics.

People have been blasting Remigio despite his explanation, especially after seeing some of the things he had posted on his personal Facebook page.

Oh, and there's the fact that he believes in the Flat Earth theory.
