Chris Brown is letting go of the past and dishing out words of advice on his new track "Grass Ain't Greener." The platinum-selling R&B star celebrated his birthday by dropping the new track today (May 5).

The breakup ballad serves as the first single from Breezy's upcoming album Heartbreak on a Full Moon. CB had previously teased fans with the new music by playing snippets of the track on his Instagram. Breezy was seen vibing out to the instrumentals a few weeks ago and as promised, dropped the full length version as a gift to his fans, Team Breezy. The chorus explains it all.

"You used to be the one to talk to on the side/Waiting for my love to break up/It's crazy how your ass can walk through every night/Acting like you been a player/That grass ain't greener on the other side, Oh yeah/That grass ain't greener on the other side."

Chris has made it a point to be more emotionally open in his music lately. The father of one has had his fair share of tumultuous relationships and experiences over the years to draw inspiration from. From Rihanna to Karrueche Tran to his baby's mother Nia Guzman, Breezy has been at the center of love-sick controversy many times in his career. In fact, the 27-year-old plans to face his demons head on in an upcoming self-produced documentary about his life titled Welcome To My Life. In the doc, Brown addresses his rise to fame, his outlook on the music industry, and most notoriously, the aftermath of the night he infamously assaulted Rihanna back in 2009.
