Converse is celebrating the Chinese New Year with the Chuck Taylor "Year of The Horse." Other brands have revealed new models paying homage to the tradition of the Lunar New Year, and now Converse has properly delivered a must-have shoe.

This "Year of the Horse" model features black horse-hair-like material on the upper, which you do not see every day on shoes. This silhouette uses red and gold accent colors to create an effortless contrast. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star logo is embossed on the ankle in gold, matching the zipper alongside the medial panel.

While the gold zipper has a dangling ornament, the inner lining is laced in a red satin fabric. All of the upper and accent colors sit atop a white midsole with an attached red outsole.

If you're thinking about purchasing a pair, head over to Converse. The Chuck Taylor "Year of the Horse" model is currently retailing for $85. Happy Lunar New Year!
