After one single and a reunion tour, Danity Kane has called it quits...again. According to Rap-Up, The girl group -- Aubrey O'Day, Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex -- disbanded following a violent studio brawl.

O'Day and Bex posted a lengthy farewell letter on Danity Kane's Twitter page to explain why the group decided to break up. O'Day wrote:

During a recent group meeting a business conversation took a turn for the worst when my group member punched me in the back of my head while I was speaking to another associate. To be clear, she was not physically engaged or threated prior to her attack on me. I cannot condone or excuse any form of physical violence, particularly at the hands of someone I considered family. Disagreements happen. But a war of words and ideas should never end in physical aggression."

O'Day is talking about the recent brawl in which fellow member Dawn Richard allegedly assaulted O'Day. Afterwards, O’Day pressed charges against the former Diddy-Dirty Money group member.

Bex also expressed sadness about the break-up. “My desire is to genuinely apologize to everyone who has poured their time, heart and energy into us. So many lives have been affected by this chain of events," she wrote.

Both O'Day and Bex went on to thank all of the DK fans who supported their reunion and stuck by them throughout the years.

Meanwhile, Dawn Richards responded to the news via her Twitter page. She wrote:

According to reports, Danity Kane had completed their reunion album and had scheduled three videos for the project. Now all of that has come to naught.

This is not the first time Danity Kane had separated. In 2009, DK called it quits after they released their second album, 'Welcome to the Dollhouse.'

Welp, it was fun while it lasted.
