When it it comes to Hip Hop NWA is easily the most influential group, and I don't see another group coming close to what they did as far as influence, plus it was so organic, and everything now seems kind of forced. By now everyone has seen the NWA biopic NWA: Straight Outta Compton, and by now everyone thinks that they are an NWA expert.

Some of the scenes in the movie were fact and others were fiction,DJ Yella sheds a little light on this.

Yella was an important part of NWA but he was obviously overshadowed by Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, and even MC Ren.

Yella talks how and when NWA  broke up, his relationship with Dr. Dre along with Dre leaving the group, and how they all felt when 'No Vaseline' was dropped.

Do you think NWA was the greatest group of all time?
