Eminem’s ‘Rap God’ Sued For Hotstylz ‘Lookin Boy’ Sample

Rapper Eminem is being sued for his single 'Rap God' and I don't think anyone seen this coming. Remember Hotstylz from some years back? Well, they are going after the Detroit rap legend for using their song, 'Lookin Boy.'

According to gossip website TMZ, Hotstylz are seeking $8 million from the Shady Records CEO from sampling their short lived parody rap.  Rapper Raymond Jones from Hotstylz says Em sampled their song for 25 seconds without his permission.

You have to listen to the section of the song 'Rap God' to hear the similarities. I think Jones has a solid case against Eminem but I do not think he will get much traction in the lawsuit. I mean, $8 million as a penalty is a little steep. I would have thought Jones would take it as a compliment or work something out with Eminem for a chance on the remix.
