There is no shortage of beautiful places to visit in Michigan. There is something great to see in almost every corner of the state.

I once was a traveling musician and have performed in almost every major and medium market and a few small towns in the state. Before I lived in Grand Rapids, the city was my favorite because it has almost everything Detroit has but is so close to so much outdoor life offering a little of everything that is "Pure Michigan."

There are many great towns in Michigan. Below is a list of the best according to Michiganders who posted on the Michigan Reddit page.

I figured Frankenmuth would be on the list. I finally visited a few years ago and enjoyed the food and the Christmas store.

Copper Harbor is one of the most beautiful areas in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. You haven't lived until you've seen the fall colors there.

This Reddit poster nailed it with Marquette.

Let's not forget about those Petoskey stones!

I used to play a club in Saugatuck called Coral Gables years ago.

I've seen the sign for Fennville but have not yet stopped in but sounds like a great town.

I visited Traverse City a couple of times many years ago but always enjoyed the town. I have heard it has grown over the years.

We might have a Wolverine fan who made that post.

Someone likes beer and more beer.

I do like going to the beach and seeing the fireworks in Grand Haven.
