Second chances are rare in life and it's important that you don't blow them.

Saline Man Was Driven Home By Police, But Didn't Stay There

The man was one of two men who were seen stumbling out of the beer tent at the Saline Oktoberfest at a park in the Washtenaw County community a few weeks back. A Saline Police Sergeant noticed the men and told the two drunk guys that they shouldn't drive in that condition, and he would give each them a ride home.

BAM! A potential tragedy averted by a quick thinking officer of the law. But one of the two men didn't really understand the opportunity handed to him.

90 Minutes Later One Of The Men Was Busted For Drunk Driving

While one guy stayed home like a good boy, the other one decided to go back to the park, get his car and run it up over the curb while attempting to turn. Another Saline police officer saw this happen, and followed him to a parking lot where the man failed several field sobriety tests. He was then arrested and booked for drunk driving.

It was there the original Sergeant recognized him and probably cast upon him the same look of disappointment my dad gave me when I was busted back in 1977.

We don't get many second chances in life, and it's important we don't blow them like this guy did. If a cop gives you a ride home, take it, and stay home, because the second ride is much more costly.
