One of the most visited attractions in Ohio is easily Cedar Point. Over the last four years, the amusement and roller coaster park has announced significant changes, not only to its rides but the park's atmosphere.

This park is still a major attraction, and as the Cleveland Scene pointed out, millions of people still live there today.

Roughly 3,444,000 people visited Cedar Point in 2022, up 4% from 2021. Its waterpark, Cedar Point Shores, also ranked in the report as the 20th most visited waterpark with roughly 405,000 attendees in 2022.
One of the most highly speculated changes coming to Cedar Point is a potential name change. Recently the Cedar Point name disappeared from the welcome sign, prompting many people to believe that they were gonna be going through a name change. The reason behind this is that Cedar Point And Six Flags merged together into one company. With that merger, many people thought that Cedar Point would be losing its name. It turns out it is losing its name, but only in two dimensions.
Luckily the sign in question is getting a 3-D cedar point logo similar to the one you can see below. As of now, the park has not announced that they will be changing the name, so fans of it don’t have to worry. That’s not to say it couldn’t happen in the future but for now it will remain Cedar Point.
If they were to change the name of the park, what would you rename it? Let us know using the chat button on our app.
